1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DepartureClock ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The Platform aggregates published schedules and real-time transit streams for general passenger guidance across Australia.

2. Scheduled vs. Real-Time Transit Data

Public transport operations are subject to real-world conditions including road traffic, weather events, emergency track maintenance, and vehicle mechanical issues. While DepartureClock ingests live GTFS-Realtime updates and verified government datasets directly, we cannot guarantee that any specific train, bus, ferry, or tram will arrive at the exact minute predicted. Commuters are encouraged to allow contingency travel time.

3. Third-Party Ticketing & Operators

DepartureClock provides fare estimates and ticketing rules for passenger convenience. All ticket purchases and fare deductions are governed by the respective state operator (e.g. Transport for NSW Opal, PTV myki, Translink go card, Journey Beyond Rail Expeditions).

4. Intellectual Property & Open Licences

Timetable datasets and transit network information are attributed to their respective Australian government authorities under Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY 4.0 / CC-BY 3.0 AU) and official open data terms.
